COOKING CLASS TOUR

1.Pick you up at your hotel to our cooking center. Depending on the number of customers, transportation is motorbike or car.
2. Welcome drink at our restaurant before we start going to the traditional market
3.Chef recommends the dishes to cook and gives you guidelines on ingredients.
4.Learn some basic Vietnamese languages to communicate with local shopkeepers. How to bargain a price? How to greet someone in Vietnam? How much is it? …
5.Tour guide and chef take you to the traditional market and buy all the ingredients according to the guidelines.
6.Washing and preliminary raw foods
7.Chef demonstrates how to identify the local ingredients, the flavor, tastes of Vietnamese herbs, and how to cook the best traditional food in Vietnam at Vietnamese Food Cooking Class.
8.Enjoy the dishes you cooked and exchange experiences with others friends

Here is the list of food you will have chance to learn how to cook:

– Cooking Vietnamese Traditional Food at Cooking Class:

“BUN CHA”: – Grilled pork belly in dipping fish sauce. Comes with fresh noodles and local herbs.
“PHO BO HA NOI” – Rice noodle soup with beef, Hanoi style
“PHO GA HA NOI” – Rice noodle soup with chicken, Hanoi style
“THIT KHO TAU” – Local traditional braised pork
“PHO CUON HA NOI” – Fresh noodle rolls with beef and fresh local herbs.
“NOM GA HOA CHUOI” – Banana flower salad with chicken.
“GA XAO SA OT” – Sauteed chicken with lemongrass and chili. Served with steam rice.
“PHO CHIEN PHONG BO” – Deep fried crispy noodle with sauteed beef and green vegetables.

– Cooking Vegetarian & Vegan Vietnamese Food at Cooking Class:
“NOM HOA CHUOI CHAY” – Banana flower salad
“NAM HAP XA” – Steamed assorted mushrooms with lemongrass.
“PHO CHIEN PHONG RAU CU” – Deep – fried noodles with sauteed assorted vegetables.
‘‘NEM RAN CHAY” – Deep – fried spring roll with assorted vegetables.
“PHO NUOC CHAY” – Vegan rice watery noodle soup.
“DAU HU SOT ME” – Deep fried tofu, tamarind dressing.

DAILY CLASSES
– Morning: 8:00 – 12:30
– Afternoon: 13:30 – 17:00

POLICY
I. SURCHARGE FOR SPECIAL DAYS:
A compulsory surcharge of 30% will be applied for the following dates:
– 1st Jan; 30th April; 1st May; 2nd September
– Vietnamese Lunar Tet Holiday (from 29 December to 03 January, lunar calendar)

II. CHILDREN POLICY:
– From 0–4 years old: Free of charge. For safety reasons, children under 5 years old can go along with their parents but are not allowed to participate in cooking sessions.
– From 5–9 years old: 50% of adult price.
– From 10 years old and above: 100% of adult price.

III. TERMS & CONDITIONS:
– 50% of the total price must be paid in advance via payment link (5% payment fee applied)
– The balance can be made to the hotel front desk upon arrival. We accept cash (USD/VND) and cards (with a surcharge for bank fee).

IV. FLEXIBLE CANCELLATION POLICY:
– More than 5 days in advance: Free cancellation
– 3 – 4 days in advance: 20% of total rate
– 2 days in advance: 30% of total rate
– Less than 48 hours prior to the departure time or No-show: 60% of total rate
